TECT respects your privacy and continuously works to protect it and protecting your personal information.

The handling of all personal information by TECT is governed by Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA or FOIPOP). We are committed to protecting your privacy whether you are browsing for information or conducting business with TECT online.

Photos

TECT members attending events are advised that their photo may be taken, and such photos may be used to promote union activities in the future. If a member does not wish to have their photo taken, or they wish to have a photo removed from the TECT website and/or another TECT platforms, they are advised to contact TECT.

TECT endeavours to provide you with the best possible information and may link you to other sites. These links are provided solely for your information and convenience. When you navigate to an outside website you are leaving the TECT website. At this point, TECT’s information management policies no longer apply.

Accessing and Updating your Personal Information

The accuracy of your personal information is important.  Please contact TECT at 416 398-6838 to update your profile.  If you advise us that information in your profile is outdated, inaccurate or incomplete, it is our policy to correct this information.
